Your Mission

  • Manage tax compliance : Prepare and review corporate tax returns for various jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.
  • Master of tax regulations : Maintain a deep understanding of evolving international tax laws and regulations, including transfer pricing and indirect taxes.
  • Strategic tax planning : Collaborate with the Accounting and Tax Director to develop and implement tax strategies that minimize liabilities and maximize efficiencies.
  • Tax research and analysis : Conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues, providing clear and concise advice to stakeholders.
  • Audit management : Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during tax audits, ensuring smooth and successful processes.
  • Process improvement : Identify opportunities to streamline tax processes and leverage technology to enhance efficiency.
  • Cross-functional collaboration : Partner with various departments (Finance, Legal, HR) to provide tax expertise and support business decisions.

Your Mission

As a Senior Tax Accountant at Playtomic, you'll be a key player in our global expansion, ensuring we navigate the complexities of international tax regulations with accuracy and efficiency. You'll not only manage tax compliance and reporting, but also proactively seek opportunities to optimize our tax position and contribute to Playtomic's financial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage tax compliance : Prepare and review corporate tax returns for various jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.
  • Master of tax regulations : Maintain a deep understanding of evolving international tax laws and regulations, including transfer pricing and indirect taxes.
  • Strategic tax planning : Collaborate with the Accounting and Tax Director to develop and implement tax strategies that minimize liabilities and maximize efficiencies.
  • Tax research and analysis : Conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues, providing clear and concise advice to stakeholders.
  • Audit management : Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during tax audits, ensuring smooth and successful processes.
  • Process improvement : Identify opportunities to streamline tax processes and leverage technology to enhance efficiency.
  • Cross-functional collaboration : Partner with various departments (Finance, Legal, HR) to provide tax expertise and support business decisions.

    • Who You’ll Work With

    You will report directly to the Accounting & Tax Director and collaborate with other members of the finance and accounting teams.

    Our Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate tax accounting, with a focus on international tax compliance.
  • Experience with tax software and ERP systems (Netsuite)
  • Strong understanding of transfer pricing regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
