Digital Platform Azure DevOps Lead

The Digital Platforms DevOps Lead will spearhead the DevOps function within the digital platforms team, focusing on implementing, managing, and optimizing CI / CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and process automation. This role will closely collaborate with the product delivery team, architects, integration team, support team, and other internal groups such as the Mars DevOps Center of Excellence and the Mars Cloud team. The team also partners extensively with external stakeholders to secure the necessary functional or technical support.

This position is critical to the Global Petcare Digital Growth organization, ensuring the seamless deployment, scaling, and operation of digital platforms. The DevOps Lead's efforts will enable faster, more reliable software delivery and enhance the overall user experience.

What are we looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Digital, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
• At least 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or equivalent.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with production Kubernetes clusters and scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Advanced proficiency with CI / CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI / CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipeline.
• Experience managing complex technical projects on an international level.
• Previous experience as a lead of technical teams with external and internal actors.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Understanding of Digital environments, Agile methodologies, and User-centric methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Digital architectures, security, and standards.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent are preferred.
