Freelance SAP ABAP Developer - Madrid - Hybrid - Start ASAP

Location :

Madrid, Spain (onsite presence required occasionally)

Contract :

6 months initial term, likely extensions

Start :

ASAP, ideally within the next 4 weeks

Languages :

Spanish and English (both required)

We are currently seeking an experienced

freelance SAP ABAP Developer

to support a key client based in Madrid.

The project involves ongoing enhancements and support for an existing SAP landscape, with a focus on custom development, performance optimization, and integration tasks.

While much of the work can be performed remotely, the client requires

onsite availability in Madrid as needed - most likely once a week , so candidates must be located in or near the area and open to attending onsite meetings when required.

Key Skills and Experience :

Strong background in

SAP ABAP development , including classical and object-oriented programming

Experience with enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms

Understanding of SAP modules such as FI, MM, or SD is a plus

Ability to work independently and collaborate with functional teams

Strong communication skills in

both Spanish and English

This is a long-term opportunity with the potential for multiple extensions.
