The Alpega Group is looking for a DevOps Engineer. This role will be part of the IT organization at Alpega, based in Barcelona, Spain.

Role Overview

The infrastructure engineer provides technical support across all IT environments, focusing on improving reliability, availability, security, and performance. Effective communication with various teams and participation in projects are essential. The role involves applying best practices to ensure a balanced approach to availability, security, efficiency, and functionality, with a focus on documentation for transparency and understanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing technical support across all IT environments.
  • Enhancing reliability, security, and performance of IT systems.
  • Participating in infrastructure projects and evolution.
  • Collaborating with team members to implement best practices.

Minimum Requirements

  • IT degree
  • Experience with AWS or Azure
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English
  • Knowledge of Linux OS
  • Experience with CI / CD tools (Jenkins)
  • Version control skills (Git)
  • Understanding of networking and architecture
  • Basic knowledge of application servers and databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
  • Experience with Kubernetes

    • Preferred Skills

  • Programming skills (Bash, Python, Java, etc.)
  • AWS or Azure certifications
  • Experience with Bitbucket, Apache / nginx, Docker, Groovy
