We are currently seeking a Category Manager to join a well-established, family-owned company undergoing significant international transformation within the organized foodservice sector .
Mission
The selected candidate will lead the procurement strategy for finished products , managing categories assigned based on experience. The role requires a strong technical and methodological approach , along with a clear international outlook. A key responsibility will be to support the expansion into new markets (Latin America and Asia), ensuring the development of local suppliers and the scalability of products.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage current direct procurement categories (including ingredients used in menus).
- Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with national and international suppliers.
- Lead the internationalization and supply offshoring strategy , identifying new local suppliers.
- Combine technical expertise with a strong commercial and relational focus.
