Senior Front End Engineer

Our client is a leading impact investing platform dedicated to driving measurable social and economic development outcomes in emerging markets. Their solutions unite investors, developers, and local stakeholders through data-driven insights and evidence-based frameworks, ensuring investments deliver sustainable impact at scale. We now seek a Mid-level Full Stack Engineer with a fervor for tech innovation and a vision to craft a groundbreaking application poised to positively impact the evidence base for development and impact investmnts Responsibilities Develop efficient and scalable front-end code using technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Vue.JS, and frameworks like React or Angular. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design wireframes into functional interfaces. Optimize application performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices. Implement responsive designs and ensure seamless user experiences across various platforms. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability. Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth functioning of web applications. Contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards. Qualifications Over 4 years experience as a frontend engineer. Have a solid understanding of Vue.Js (2 years). This will be required to demonstrate as part of interview. Experience with Typescript Experience with writing documentation for APIs Strong understanding of unit / integration testing Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS Previous proven experience creating scalable applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally. Fluency in English. What's on Offer?
