About the gig

The Accounting and Tax Specialist is responsible for managing all accounting transactions. Additionally, they oversee and manage the computation of taxes and prepare tax returns.

Responsibilities :

As an Accounting and Tax Specialist, your responsibilities will include :

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Publish financial statements on time
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Assist the controller in the preparation of audits
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit / loss statements
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Take record and control of assets
• Support the finance team with other duties as required
