Responsible for leading, performing, and witnessing Factory Acceptance Tests, installations, and start-up of PreFab modular data centers at the Barcelona Factory and occasionally at customer facilities.

  • Data Center Business.
  • Projects between 400k to 60M USD.
  • Electrical, Cooling, Control, and Monitoring installation systems.
  • Works 90% in Factory and 10% at Customer Facilities.
  • Projects delivered worldwide.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owner of Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test documents.
  • Project Configuration and Start-up in our factory.
  • Develop FAT and SAT scripts.
  • Manage and witness installation and Start-up on customer site.
  • Responsible for verifying the performance of the project before shipment.
  • Support Service Department.
  • Sporadic travel leading other factories and site testing / commissioning.
  • Leading FAT in all projects assuring functionality of the projects and following processes.
  • Reporting results and tracking open items.
  • Tracking Snagging list and Lessons Learned.
  • Focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • ABOUT YOU

  • Experience : 3-5 years as a field services engineer working on electrical equipment and systems.
  • Power Electrical Distribution Knowledge.
  • 3-phase, single-phase, AC-DC schematics, switchgear operation, and installation experience.
  • Electrical Engineering studies or equivalent.
  • Experience in using electrical measurement instruments and data capture.
  • BMS / Control Systems knowledge.
  • PLC knowledge is valuable.
  • Cooling Systems Experience (DX, Chillers) is valuable.
  • Experience traveling and working abroad is valuable.
  • Hard Skills

  • English speaking, writing, and reading.
  • IT Systems and PC Software Literacy.
  • Electrical Equipment Operation and Maintenance.
  • Knowledge of electrical LV power distribution.
  • Digital / Analog 0-10, 4-20mA signal knowledge.
  • Valuable Power Electronics knowledge.
  • Valuable MV knowledge or concepts.
  • Valuable cooling systems knowledge or concepts (DX and Water-cooling solutions).
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Open to travel for periods from 1 to 2 weeks.
  • Soft Skills

  • Autonomous and a decision maker.
  • Good performance working under pressure.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Effective reporting writing and speaking.
  • Good communication and customer focus.
