WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As Global Head of Processes , you will develop capabilities for designing, governing, and integrating end-to-end processes with supporting platform systems, along with performance monitoring, continuous discovery, and improvement leveraging data.
Your success metrics include :
- Deep knowledge of banking products and processes
- Experience in lean / six sigma or other optimization methodologies
- Senior-level engagement with organizational stakeholders, especially business partners, building trust-based relationships
- Outstanding leadership skills

WHAT WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will help us to :
Manage the process catalog and apply Santander’s methodologies and tools for end-to-end process design and managementPromote and utilize advanced tools for process discovery and automation (e.g., process mining, AI, RPA)Lead strategic planning and execution of process transformation and simplification initiativesIntegrate process designs into the IT change lifecycle, ensuring design principles are followedDefine and monitor KPIs and process observability for continuous improvementDevelop process engineering capabilities aligned with IT teams (front-end, middle / back-end, support)Collaborate with organizational teams to align people and organizational decisions with process reengineeringSupport local teams in process analysis and optimizationCoordinate with HQ areas (Risk, Compliance, Legal) for process optimizationCreate a marketplace for sharing best practices across countriesSupport the setup of centralized operational solutions using common tools and servicesSKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related; Master’s preferredProven experience leading process transformation in financial servicesTransformational skills to motivate change, with business vision, organizational understanding, communication, and change management capabilitiesStrong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skillsSoft skills such as leadership, communication, negotiation, collaboration, and consensus building are essentialHigh proficiency in English for interacting with colleagues across EuropeOTHER INFORMATION
