DESCRIPTION : Amazon is searching for a data-driven and customer-obsessed individual to join our Cost Management team based in Madrid, Spain. The successful candidate will be a key part of the team and will be responsible for all cost aspects of our pan-EU specialist logistics building program. The individual will report to the Head of Cost Management and drive data-driven decisions to deliver the most frugal solutions for cost control and problem solving for our customers in the construction and engineering teams.
Would you like an opportunity to work with multiple countries and cultures? The role will be based in Madrid with 20% of the time traveling either domestically or to other EMEA countries.
Key Job Responsibilities
A Day in the Life
A typical day will involve meeting with teams for new projects, developing cost analysis, and creating benchmarks to compare with historical projects. You will be the main contact for all cost-related topics for new projects until budget approval, managing approximately 15-20 projects at any given time. You will also collaborate closely with our internal design team and other cost managers for new or updated building design generations.
