This role requires a hands-on approach to work, ensuring the delivery of cost-effective facilities and maintenance services. You will be responsible for managing the residence in the absence of the Residence Manager, ensuring all aspects of the residence operate smoothly.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Residence Manager, your key responsibilities will include :
- Leading, mentoring, and guiding the team to ensure the residence runs smoothly, utilizing your upbeat and outgoing personality.
- Following up on sales opportunities to ensure the property reaches full capacity through short-term and long-term lets.
- Driving sales and marketing activities to maximize occupancy and utilize all marketing channels effectively.
- Maintaining high standards of property presentation through regular inspections and collaboration with the facilities team.
- Handling complaints and providing excellent customer service to students, managing both positive and negative feedback.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders at local universities, as well as internal and external suppliers.
- Ensuring the operational calendar and student lifecycle processes—from arrival to departure and summer turnaround—run smoothly.
Qualifications

Relevant experience in managing a residence, preferably within hotels, hospitality, or student accommodation.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain quality relationships.A passion for providing students with the best living experience possible.Behaviors aligned with our values of integrity, commitment, and energy.Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a focus on sales and marketing.Qualification and / or willingness to undertake training for Carbon Literacy.Benefits
