We are actively looking for a software-defined radio and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) engineer to assist into the integration of commercial SDR for first generation of FOSSA SDR payloads.
Design digital communication systems using platforms such as software-defined radios (SDRs) and FPGAs.
Perform functional modelling of DSP algorithms and their implementation in RTL (Verilog / VHDL) or high-level languages (C / C++).
Support the development and enhancement of custom space-tailored radio platforms.
Telecommunications degree or similar.
Experience with testing and characterizing electrical components of Software Defined Radios (SDR).
Knowledge of additional communications systems concepts (coding, RF propagation, multiplexing, filtering, etc).
Excellent RF, antenna, and link budgets comprehension.
Full professional proficiency in English.
Expertise with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) frameworks such as GNU Radio.
Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automating tasks, simulating, or enhancing system testing and analysis.
