Inventory Analytics Specialist

Are you passionate about data, systems, and supply chain optimization? Join Sonova as an Inventory Analytics Specialist and help shape the backbone of our global inventory strategy. In this role, you’ll ensure our inventory flows are efficient, data-driven, and aligned with customer needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain inventory master data in SAP and planning systems, ensuring accuracy across global locations
  • Set and optimize inventory entitlement targets using segmentation, lead-time analysis, and risk-based models
  • Configure and support planning parameters (e.g., safety stock, reorder points) in tools like SAP, o9, or Blue Yonder
  • Develop and automate dashboards to track KPIs such as inventory turns, cycle time, and aging
  • Analyze root causes of inventory variances and slow-moving stock, and propose corrective actions
  • Collaborate with IT, finance, and operations on system enhancements, data migrations, and forecasting inputs
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to improve supply chain performance and planning capabilities
  • Act as the go-to expert for inventory data governance, planning tool usage, and best practices

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory planning, logistics analytics, or PFEP (Plan for Every Part)
  • Strong skills in Excel and SQL; experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Proficient in SAP (MM / WM or S / 4HANA); experience with planning tools (e.g., o9, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP) is a plus
  • Solid understanding of inventory segmentation, safety stock modeling, and supply chain variability
  • Experience in high-mix or medical device environments is a strong advantage
  • Strong data storytelling and system thinking skills; able to influence without authority
  • Bonus : Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt or experience with carbon footprint tracking and returnable packaging
