Purpose of the Role

The digital and cloud services industry is at the forefront of technological transformation, and CrossMedia is committed to leading this evolution. We seek a Senior Presales Engineer based in Spain, preferably Madrid or nearby, to provide expert technical consultancy, design innovative cloud solutions, and facilitate customer engagement throughout sales processes. You will bridge technical capabilities with customer needs by presenting tailored solutions, leading demonstrations, and preparing compelling proposals to foster trust and long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to the sales team as a cloud and digital solutions expert during presentations, meetings, and proposals.
  • Specialize in advanced cloud technologies, digital transformation frameworks, and system integrations through ongoing training and certifications.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand complex requirements and design tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality documentation, including proposals, tenders, RFIs, and RFPs.
  • Lead customer presentations, live demos, and proofs of concept for digital solutions and cloud platforms.
  • Represent CrossMedia at industry events, trade shows, and partner conferences, showcasing our expertise.
  • Act as a liaison between manufacturers, cloud providers, and clients, ensuring smooth technical communication.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in cloud technologies, automation, and digital workflows to provide innovative solutions.

Skills Required

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or related engineering field.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation tools.
  • Experience with CDN and media streaming protocols is highly valued.
  • Expertise in streaming technologies and OTT platforms (backend and frontend).
  • Experience with OTT analytics tools (QoE, Social Media Analytics, Data Lakes, BI).
  • Proficiency in software-defined infrastructure and virtualization.
  • Solid understanding of network security principles in cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (B2-C1 or higher).
  • Minimum 3 years in presales or technical consultancy roles.
  • Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
