Quality Assurance Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer with the mission of developing , modifying , applying , and maintaining standards for software quality operating methods , processes , systems , and procedures , specifically for space application .

Review and extraction of quality assurance requirements from documentation.

Establish, implement, and maintain a software assurance plan and practices used to ensure products and tools conform to company standards of excellence.

Review customer, system and software requirements to ensure the flow down of requirements is complete and unambiguous.

Interface with software engineers in the verification of product design, quality, and reliability.

Provide oversight in discrepancy review and software failure investigation as well as cause and corrective action determinations.

Witness software build testing, flight software qualification, and integration and test.

Provide lab support and lab verification.

Degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science. Master´s Degree related is a plus.

At least 2 years of software and / or quality assurance experience.

Application of technical expertise including complete understanding of software assurance fundamental engineering principles, practices, and theories.

Good understanding of software development life cycles that align with AS9100.

Agile experience in software products compliance audits and root cause corrective action.
