The role
We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join our Backend team, focusing on delivering value to our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent coding skills, be quality-oriented, and passionate about impactful projects. Our new developments primarily use Golang, with legacy code in PHP + Symfony and some in Typescript.
Responsibilities
- Write reusable, efficient, and well-tested code
- Participate in cross-domain product teams, always considering the end user
- Collaborate on brainstorming, decision-making, and architecture
- Think creatively to identify problems and design solutions
- Bring several years of experience with complex, high-volume systems
- Work with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and performance optimization
- Participate in feature design using DDD and eventstorming
- Apply Strategic Domain-Driven Design for modular architecture
- Document key technical decisions through ADRs
- Manage legacy code outside current refactoring initiatives
