At the European Shared Services Center in Cornellà de Llobregat, with over 300 employees, we support the group's subsidiaries across Europe and other regions. We have created a multicultural environment with employees from around 30 different nationalities.

We are looking for a Junior Assistant Accountant for the Netherlands , based in Barcelona .

As a Junior Assistant Accountant for the Netherlands , your responsibilities will include :

• Ensuring timely and accurate preparation and filing of Annual Financial Statements in accordance with Dutch Accounting Standards and Civil Code for multiple Dutch entities.
• Managing the annual statutory audit of Dutch entities and securing a clean sign-off from our auditor Deloitte.
• Collaborating internally with finance, payroll, tax, legal, and business departments in the Netherlands, as well as with the consolidation department at our US headquarters or other locations.
• Reviewing and advising on major transactions to ensure correct recording under DAS requirements, and preparing necessary legal adjustments.
• Communicating professionally with external parties such as statutory auditors, tax advisors, tax offices, business administrators, and local statistical offices.
• Closing monthly, quarterly, and annual activities for US GAAP and NL GAAP.
• Preparing quarterly balance sheet reconciliations in line with company policy.
