Description

The Align Predictability Optimization Team is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our team. As a Sr. C++ Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing a 3D CAD / CAM system for orthodontic treatment using ML, Neural network, and Knitro engine. The team focuses on developing software and algorithms for new orthodontic products and features of Align Technology. The team is working on various sets of tasks : computational geometry, architecture rework and refactoring, introducing new products, and integration with other applications. We are working closely with the biomechanical engineering team and clinical experts in the US.

In this role, you will…

• Participate in the full software development life cycle from concept to release and monitoring
• Create and enhance numerical 3D-geometrical algorithms in C++ using ML, Neural Network
• Work on tasks related to the introduction of new products : integration with other applications, implementing new business logic
• Do refactoring and architecture rework of existing code to improve performance and stability
• Participate in code reviews and lead the technical transformation
• Collaborate with software and biomechanical engineering, manufacturing and clinical teams
• Write content in a documentation-as-code approach, using version control, markup format and text editors
• Maintain traceability and regulatory documentation for medical software
• Design and agree high-level technical architecture with the R&D team
• Educate and guide engineers in the development
