ROLE SUMMARY :
We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced and proactive Senior HR Generalist to join our Central Services team at our headquarters in Madrid .
This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the HR function of a fast-paced, international organisation that places people at the heart of everything it does. This is a temporary position, with the potential to be extended or made permanent depending on business needs.
Reporting to the HR Manager , the Senior HR Generalist will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of HR services across Inspired's corporate and school-facing teams. The successful candidate will be confident managing a broad generalist remit, with strong experience in both administration and employee relations, as well as recruitment and onboarding processes.
This is a hands-on role suited to a highly organised professional with a collaborative mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a strong service orientation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Draft and manage employment contracts for new hires.
Maintain accurate employee records and organise physical and digital HR files.
Update and manage employee lifecycle data within the HRIS (Korg-i).
Provide HR administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle, including support with employee relations matters.
Prepare regular HR reports (e.g., FTEs, turnover, leave of absence) and assist with compliance audits.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Lead recruitment processes for assigned roles, from identifying sourcing strategies to screening CVs and conducting interviews.
Conduct pre-employment and background checks.
Coordinate and enhance the onboarding and induction process for new joiners.
Ensure all employees have updated job descriptions on file.
Support the performance evaluation process.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE :
University Degree in HR, Labour Relations, Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within an international or multi-site environment.
Fluency in English and Spanish , both written and spoken, is essential.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong knowledge of Spanish labour law and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
Results-oriented, customer-focused, and proactive in approach.
