What are they looking for?They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their growing Product & Tech team.
You'll work closely with other data engineers and cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a robust cloud-based data infrastructure.
Your work will directly support data availability, reliability, and scalability as the company continues to expand globally.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and scale cloud-based data solutions critical to the company's long-term strategy.Collaborate with different departments to identify data needs and deliver effective, scalable solutions.Translate business requirements into solid data architectures together with the Data team.Develop and maintain ETL / ELT pipelines from scratch to support a high-performing Data Warehouse.Operate and monitor data workflows using Dagster, ensuring stable and error-free execution.Set up sanity checks and alerts to catch anomalies early in both pipelines and the data warehouse.Continuously enhance data processes and infrastructure.
Must-Have RequirementsStrong SQL skills and experience with cloud-based databases like Redshift and AWS RDS.Solid Python knowledge, including packages for analytics, data transformation, APIs, and ML / AI.Proven experience building and maintaining ETLs / ELTs, ideally using dbt or similar tools.Familiarity with modern data stacks such as Fivetran, Hightouch, DBT, Dagster, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.Experience with orchestration tools (ideally Dagster).Proactive, independent, and passionate about solving complex problems with simple and scalable solutions.Ability to take full ownership of projects from ideation to delivery.Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
Nice to HaveExperience with RAG architectures (vector databases, LLMs, data curation workflows).
