An award-winning strategic partner of AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, we work alongside more than 4,000 customers worldwide.The OpportunityAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on improving our Cloud Management Platform product and implementing new features in DoiT Flexsave and DoiT Insights. You'll collaborate with product managers and developers from other teams and participate in product-making decisions.DoiT Flexsave optimizes your savings by adjusting the blend of plans available to you. It continually re-adjusts the mix of discount mechanisms as your resource utilization changes to maximize your savings. DoiT Flexsave has delivered more than 100 million dollars in savings to our customers.DoiT Insights is a recommendation service that helps optimize cloud costs, enhance cloud infrastructure security, and adopt best practices of FinOps and well-architected frameworks. It also tracks completed optimizations, fostering accountability and helping understand progress over time.ResponsibilitiesCo-own the roadmap and backlog. Define and scope future vision of the product roadmap.Implement features from proposal through spec, implementation, and maintenance. Propose new ideas to enhance our products.Review code and pull requests to maintain quality.Improve the health of the codebase, dedicating time to housekeeping to reduce technical debt.Provide and receive feedback during planning and discussions to address challenges early.Qualifications8+ years of software development experience as a Backend engineer.Extensive knowledge of cloud services and their optimization (cost, security, performance) is a major plus.Solid understanding of programming languages, ideally Go, with willingness to learn if needed.Experience in system design.Commitment to continuous development and learning.Knowledge of software engineering practices.Experience with Git / GitHub.Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.Self-organized, goal-oriented, confident, thorough, and tenacious.Ability to operate flexibly in a fast-paced, evolving environment.A sense of humor and enjoyment of work.Bonus PointsBA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience.Work Environment & BenefitsWe support remote work with flexibility to balance professional and personal growth.
