Base pay range

60,000.00 / yr - $70,000.00 / yr

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to be part of a high-scale blockchain project focusing on developing distributed systems and decentralized structures, supporting scalability. This remote position is ideally suited for candidates located in European time zones.

Must-Have For The Position

5+ years of backend experience with 3+ years in blockchain (DAO, DeFi, dApps)

Proficiency in Java or Node.js

Knowledge of Corda or similar platforms (Hyperledger Fabric, Quorum)

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, with PostgreSQL preferred

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar) for deployment and scaling

Upper-intermediate level of English

Responsibilities

Develop backend logic for distributive blockchain systems

Build decentralized structures supporting scalability

Close cooperation with Frontend engineer and Product team

About The Project

This project is focused on developing a high-performance blockchain marketplace with reusability at its core. The main task for the project’s first stage is to create a highly loaded infrastructure and component base with a focus on scalability and decentralization.

Team Composition : Cross-functional team with backend, frontend, and blockchain experts
