Researcher - Surface Engineering Expert

We are seeking a researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of R&D projects focused on monitoring degradation phenomena. The successful candidate will have a strong background in materials science, physics or industrial engineering.

• The primary responsibility will be to work on the reinforcement and promotion of the monitoring of degradation phenomena line.
• The researcher will also manage and implement R&D projects, analyzing results, drafting reports and preparing presentations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Development of degradation phenomena monitoring methodologies based on Acoustic Emission.
• Analysis of acoustic emission data.
• Degradation phenomena of materials and coatings (corrosion, wear, ...).

Requirements :

Master degree in physics, materials science, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent.

Fluent in spoken and written English.

A sound knowledge of the following areas :

• Development of degradation phenomena monitoring methodologies based on Acoustic Emission.
• Analysis of acoustic emission data.
• Degradation phenomena of materials and coatings (corrosion, wear, ...).

Knowledge and experience of other NDT methods, working experience both in academic and industrial sector, knowledge of other foreign languages will be considered a plus.
