Mission

As a Welding Engineer, your main mission will be within the Manufacturing Engineering department to guarantee the quality of welding processes, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and implement technical documentation (WPS, WPQR, etc.).
  • Guarantee and improve the quality of welding processes by ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Manage and interpret non-destructive and destructive tests following applicable regulations.
  • Manage and evaluate welding work subject to high-quality standards (aeronautical or aerospace).
  • Coordinate and plan welding work.

Necessary Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar, with strong knowledge of welding processes.
  • Valuable : International Welding Engineer (IWE) certification.
  • Valuable : International Welding Technician (IWT) certification.
  • Valuable : International Welding Inspector (IWI) or ICS inspection levels.
  • Valuable : European Adhesives Engineer (EAE) or European Adhesives Specialist (EAS).
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Desired Requirements

  • Experience interpreting macrography.
  • Experience performing NDI.
  • Experience with thermal treatments like PWHT, annealing, distension.
