We are looking for an experienced Sales & Bid Manager to lead the sales and the preparation and management of public tenders within the software and transportation technology industry. This role is essential to securing key contracts and delivering innovative solutions that transform mobility. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in public procurement processes, excellent project management skills, and the ability to craft winning proposals that align with both client objectives and company strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
Identify and evaluate public sector opportunities that align with company solutions and strategic objectives.Lead the sales team to develop tailored strategies that position the company as the preferred partner.Build and nurture relationships with key public sector stakeholders, including government bodies, procurement teams, and partners.Manage the full lifecycle of public tender responses, including analysis of RFP / RFI documents, proposal development, submission, and follow-up.Define and execute bid plans, ensuring all deliverables meet client requirements and deadlines.Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, finance, legal, and marketing) to deliver high-quality and competitive proposals.Ensure proposals comply with public procurement regulations and standards.Develop and maintain a repository of reusable bid content, templates, and success stories to streamline future tender submissions.Ensure proposals are accurate, compelling, and aligned with the client’s strategic goals.Stay informed about public procurement trends, regulations, and best practices within the software and transport technology sectors.Conduct competitor analysis to understand market positioning and identify differentiators.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years experience in bid management, public tenders, or B2G (business-to-government) sales within the software or transport technology sector.Strong understanding of public procurement processes and government tendering requirements.Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into client-focused solutions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM or bid management tools.Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of the transport technology sector, including software solutions for public transport systems.Proven track record of winning public tenders in the technology space.Strong financial and analytical acumen to align pricing models with client requirements.Experience working in cross-functional, multicultural teams within a global organization.Our offer :
