Offer Description

We are seeking to recruit a research assistant for the ChildTech Lab group at the UOC's Digital Transformation, AI and Technology Research Unit.

The project aims to study children's behaviour in their learning process with interactive devices and the influence of their peers. The aim is to advance theory and empirical knowledge about learning processes and child development with digital content. A multimodal and ethical methodology is applied with preschool-aged children.

Responsibilities

Preparation and collection of data with children under six years of age in nursery schools, as well as support in data processing and preparation within the framework of the Ramón y Cajal research line.

The successful candidate will be awarded a temporary full-time contract lasting 3 months. The scheduled start date is 15 September.

The physical location will be 22@, located at Rambla del Poblenou, 156, in Barcelona. However, at the UOC we work with a flexible model that combines teleworking with on-site work, depending on organisational needs and the nature of the tasks.

  • PhD or Master's degree in a social science field (e.g. Psychology or Education).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Experience in research with children under 6 years of age.
  • Basic knowledge of office automation; use of Final Cut or other similar video editing programmes will be an advantage.
  • Video editing, knowledge of research methodology and ethics.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Catalan and Spanish.

Also of interest :
