Industry : Water Infrastructure / Ductile Iron Pipes

Reporting to : VP of Sales

A leading global manufacturer in the water infrastructure sector is expanding its European footprint and seeking a Country Head of Sales to drive growth in Spain . This is a unique opportunity for a strategic sales leader with deep knowledge of piping solutions and B2B project sales to lead commercial efforts and build a sustainable market presence.

Define and execute the national sales strategy to meet ambitious revenue targets.
Build and nurture relationships with government bodies, EPC contractors, municipalities , and key private clients.
Lead market expansion by onboarding distributors, dealers, and direct clients .
Negotiate and close high-value contracts across public infrastructure and industrial sectors.
Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
Hire, train, and lead a high-performing local sales team, setting KPIs and performance targets.
Collaborate with supply chain and production to ensure on-time delivery and product quality.
Ensure compliance with international standards and manage reporting for senior stakeholders.
10+ years of experience in the water or utilities industry , with a strong track record in sales of piping products (DI or alternatives) .
Proven experience in project-based sales to governments, municipalities, and EPCs .
Background in engineering or relevant commercial field (degree preferred).
Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in Spanish and English ; additional languages are a plus.
Highly driven, strategic, and hands-on in building new markets from the ground up.
