We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our Human Nutrition team in Barcelona, Spain , with responsibility for the Iberia and Tunisia Bakery and confectionery markets.

About this role

Job Purpose

As Sales Manager—Human Nutrition, you'll drive commercial success across Iberia and Tunisia, shaping Barentz's presence in these high-potential markets. You'll be at the heart of a dynamic and customer-focused environment where science meets strategy.

This is more than just sales—you'll act as a trusted advisor, delivering innovative ingredient solutions to our food manufacturing partners for Bakery and Confectionery, with a strong focus on technical value and application expertise.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales in Iberia and Tunisia
  • Promote and sell ingredients to food manufacturers, emphasizing technical value
  • Provide expert advice on formulation and ingredient applications
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships via CRM / BRM systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams and report to the Area Sales Manager
  • Travel within the assigned territory (approx. 1–2 weeks per month)

    • About You

  • Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience, ideally in food ingredient distribution
  • In-depth knowledge of the food industry, especially in the Bakery and Confectionery segments
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a results-driven environment
  • Familiarity with import procedures and logistics is a plus
  • Fluent in Spanish, Catalan, English, and French
  • Proficient in CRM / BRM systems for managing customer pipelines and relationships
