Job Purpose
At Vueling, we aim to revolutionize our social media presence by implementing innovative strategies that will improve our impact as market leaders. To achieve this, we are seeking a Social Media Manager who will lead the development of a new innovative social media strategy, driving impactful change and elevating our brand to greater success.
The Social Media Manager will be a key player in amplifying Vueling brand and driving business growth through innovative social media strategies. This role requires a passionate and data-driven individual who can craft compelling content, build strong community relationships, and deliver impactful results across all major social platforms.
This includes crafting platform-specific content strategies, producing impactful digital assets and maintaining a consistent, engaging tone of voice across all touchpoints. A key priority will be growing and nurturing Vueling’s social media presence, building meaningful connections and actively managing community interactions.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
- Develop and execute Social Media Strategy
- Define and refine social media strategies aligned with Vueling's overall brand goals.
- Develop and implement channel-specific strategies for platforms like Instagram and TikTok, but also X, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Maintain and evolve the tone of voice across digital platforms to align with brand identity.
- Content Creation and Management
- Manage Vueling social media team, which includes content creators, community managers and reporting team members.
- Create engaging and high-quality social media content (text, images, video) that aligns with brand guidelines.
- Manage the social media content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
- Collaborate with creative teams and agencies to produce innovative and impactful content.
- Generate compelling digital content packages and campaigns for brand partners.
- Campaign management : plan and execute successful social media marketing campaigns to promote Vueling products, events, and initiatives.
- Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Track and analyze key social media metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) to measure campaign performance.
- Identify areas for improvement and optimize social media strategies accordingly.
- Lead social media tools as Sprinklr and social media partners and agencies with a data-driven mindset.
- Brand Advocacy
- Represent Vueling's brand consistently and positively across all social media channels.
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends, best practices, and platform updates.
- Be reactive, flexible and productive on social media out-of-plan communications.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related fields.Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing Management, MBA, or related areas.Experience
7 to 10 years of experience in similar roles, a proven track record of success in managing and growing social media channels.Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms.Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.Creative and innovative thinker with a passion for social media.Strong project management and organizational skills.Essential experience in the Spanish market and preferably in the Catalan market.Strong data analysis and metrics skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.In-depth knowledge of social media trends and best practices.Collaborative mindset and results-oriented attitude.Competencies
