CIDETEC Energy Storage is looking for a process engineer to work in the Energy Materials Unit. We are seeking a person with project and people management skills, including technical task planning, analysis of results, writing monitoring reports for clients, and R&D team leadership.

Your contribution

You will be part of a state-of-the-art research center focused on sustainability and the circular economy, which has helped electrify Spain's roads and is working towards 100% future sustainability.

The developer will join the Energy Materials Unit, working on the cell assembly process to improve it and gain in-depth knowledge of the main parameters affecting assembly.

Your work will focus on :

  • Analyzing the assembly process and identifying critical parameters to optimize it.
  • Determining failure modes of assembled cells, relating them to specific assembly steps, and defining corrective actions.
  • Communicating closely with machine suppliers during new equipment search and fine-tuning.
  • Elaborating process documentation.

You will also be involved in :

  • Planning technical tasks.
  • Participating in projects focused on cell assembly.
  • Managing project documentation and writing reports.

    Requirements

    Education : Process engineer, mechanical engineer, mechatronic, or battery engineer.

    Languages : High level of written and spoken English.

    Knowledge : Sound knowledge in manufacturing processes, mechanical setup development, CAD programming (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.), and batteries is a plus.

    Others : Ability to work as part of a team and independently, multitask, optimize resources, and maximize results.

    Observations

    A highly motivated person with an interest in research and innovation, capable of organizing work to meet deadlines and objectives, with problem-solving skills, scientific approach, and good communication skills.
