and a strong foundation in cloud-native engineering. In this
hands-on role , you will design, implement, and manage secure cloud environments that enable real-time data platforms, predictive maintenance applications, and advanced IT / OT integrations. You will play a key role in architecting and implementing cloud infrastructure, deploying containerized services, configuring secure data pipelines, and supporting scalable operations across a variety of
digital manufacturing solutions . Your work will directly enable clients to transition from legacy on-prem systems to modern, resilient, cloud-connected environments. This is a hybrid work opportunity.
Architect and implement secure, scalable AWS infrastructure to support data collection, processing, storage, and application delivery for pharmaceutical manufacturing use cases. Cloud Platform Deployment & Management :
Deploy and maintain containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) and automation pipelines (CI / CD) for platform reliability and efficiency. Promote and implement continuous improvements to ensure cloud environments are running efficiently. Data Integration & Security :
Design and support secure data transfer from edge systems to cloud platforms, ensuring regulatory compliance (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, ISA / IEC 62443). Cloud Services Optimization :
Leverage AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, IoT Core, Lambda, CloudWatch) to optimize performance, resilience, and cost-efficiency. Collaboration & Support :
Work closely with Solution Architects, Software Developers, and Process Automation Engineers to align infrastructure with application and integration requirements. Documentation & Governance :
Maintain clear infrastructure documentation and ensure adherence to best practices for cloud security, monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery.
Required Qualifications : Education :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Cloud Engineering, or related technical field. Language :
Fluent in English (oral and written). Spanish is a plus. Cloud Expertise :
Proven experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) architecture and services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation, IoT Core). Infrastructure as Code :
Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools. Containers and CI / CD :
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps pipelines (Git, Bitbucket). Security and Compliance :
Understanding of cloud security best practices and governance in regulated environments (GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11, etc.). Builder Mentality :
A mindset to build creative technology solutions, and a desire to learn the latest IT / OT technologies in manufacturing.
Preferred Skills : Industrial Integration :
Familiarity with connecting cloud infrastructure to OT / SCADA systems and time-series data platforms (e.g., AspenTech Inmation, Aveva PI Historian, Ignition) is a plus. Experience working with
hybrid cloud-edge architectures
for industrial manufacturing settings. Exposure to real-time data applications, predictive maintenance, or IoT analytics platforms. Familiarity with
monitoring and logging frameworks
CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus). Basic knowledge of
