Role purpose
Responsible for sourcing products and local suppliers (CG0) for commodities not managed centrally, typically outsourced manufacturing / subcontracting, requiring local knowledge and coordination with manufacturing capacity and outsourcing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve procurement goals or support others following established systems and protocols.
Contract Requirements : Identify contract needs and write specifications for existing and new contracts.Contract Management : Coordinate activities of subcontractors and suppliers, acting as primary contact within an established plan.Buying : Support vendor negotiations and manage buying for assigned products / services.Data Collection and Analysis : Produce reports by gathering data from standard sources.Document Preparation : Prepare documents using standard office applications, gather and summarize data for reports.Sourcing : Collect market information to support decision-making.Cost Accounting : Evaluate costs and identify profitability opportunities.Operational Compliance : Support change initiatives with analysis and project updates.Information and Business Advice : Resolve queries and provide policy / procedure information.Stakeholder Engagement : Arrange actions, meetings, and events to support engagement.Values & Behaviours
