Job Title : IT Support Desk Tier 1 Technician

As an IT Support Desk Tier 1 technician, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, supporting internal customers, resolving IT incidents and service requests, and escalating issues to Tier 2 support when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical assistance requests.
  • Perform troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and relevant questions.
  • Determine the best solution to restore customer working conditions quickly.
  • Guide customers through problem-solving processes.
  • Escalate issues to appropriate support personnel or vendors.
  • Provide accurate information about IT products and services.
  • Record incidents and resolutions in tickets / logs.
  • Suggest improvements to procedures.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English with excellent grammar and spelling.
  • Strong administrative and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to recognize key hardware components of a computer.
  • Proficiency navigating Windows 11 operating system.

  • Contract : Temporary, 3 months with 1-month probation
  • Position : Support Desk Technician T1
  • Hours : 39 hours / week
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm
  • Salary : €21,000 gross per year
  • Holidays : 2 days accrued per month
  • Work model : Office-based in Barcelona (La Sagrera)
  • Training : 2 weeks of office-based training
