Introduction to the Vacant Position

The nanoprobes and nanoswitches group is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to develop projects related to neural circuit investigation and therapeutic applications of photoswitchable compounds. The contract involves characterizing the efficacy and safety of small molecules in vitro and in vivo, their dependence on illumination, and their applications in studying neural circuits, including sensory circuits.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Conduct in vitro and in vivo electrophysiological experiments
• Carry out in vitro cellular assays, including fluorescence imaging and high throughput characterization
• Disseminate research findings
