Data Protection Expert

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Disk Recovery Specialist. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.

About the Role :

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high availability backup platforms. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance overall system performance.

In addition, they will participate in the automation of tasks, resolve critical incidents, perform proactive monitoring, and contribute to the development of procedures and reports.

Key Responsibilities :

• Engineering tasks
• Administration of High Availability Backup Platforms
• Resolving critical or escalated incidents
• Preparation of procedures and reports

Requirements :

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position, with solid knowledge in Cohesity, Linux, and Windows operating systems. You should also possess fluency in English, proficiency in Oracle knowledge applied to backup using RMAN, and familiarity with various backup agents such as Oracle, SQL, MySQL, SAP, and DB2.

Able to write effective Shell / batch scripts, your ability to work under pressure, and excellent time management skills will also be highly valued.
