Senior Accountant (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Join our team as a Senior Accountant

Take ownership of the general ledger, month-end closing procedures, and taxes. In this key position, you will lead and optimize critical financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with our tax obligations. This position is a one-year contract to cover a maternity leave.

Responsibilities

• Verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling G / L accounts
• Supervise, submit, and report taxes
• Support external and internal audits
• Monthly closings
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage IFRS16
• Perform transfer price and IC reconciliation
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices

Your Talent & Education

University degree in business administration

Solid operational and technical accounting background with proactive results-driven approach

Strong knowledge of SAP and Excel

Experience

3-5 years of accounting experience

Demonstrated tax reporting experience
