What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and mentor a team of site reliability engineers (SREs), fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee system reliability, ensuring high availability and performance of Camunda’s SaaS platform.
  • Manage reliability engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality, by coordinating cross-functional teams and mitigating risks.
  • Lead incident response efforts, ensuring quick resolution and conducting postmortem analyses.
  • Report on system performance and reliability metrics to senior leadership, and continuously improve processes.

What You Bring

  • Strong knowledge in building and maintaining multi-cloud infrastructure using SRE principles and tools.
  • Experience in defining and achieving SLOs, translating them into business SLAs.
  • Solution architecture experience to guide technical decisions and clarify infrastructure challenges.
  • A hands-on approach to resolving technical and organizational issues.
  • Ability to translate strategic directions into operational decisions quickly.
  • Ownership mindset for infrastructure and software deployment, staying current with industry best practices.

    • Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Kubernetes, especially managed services like EKS and GKE.
  • Familiarity with tools like ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana, Karpenter.
  • Experience collaborating with vendors to optimize services and troubleshoot issues.
