About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Lean Manager to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires a strong background in quality management, lean principles, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and implement quality policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Identify, define, and establish relevant quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for organizational processes and objectives.
  • Continuously monitor operational processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Analyze quality data, including KPIs, audit results, and customer feedback, to identify areas for improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with operations teams to understand their processes, identify challenges, and propose improvements based on quality principles.
  • Apply Lean principles and tools to identify and eliminate waste in processes, improving efficiency and quality.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Solid knowledge of quality management systems.
  • Experience in defining and monitoring quality KPIs.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Experience in implementing continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge and application of Lean principles and Value Stream Mapping (VPS) tools.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proactivity and initiative to identify and lead improvements.
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Master's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Experience

  • Proven experience (typically 3-5+ years) in a Quality and Lean Management role, preferably within a logistics operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001.
  • Experience with Lean methodologies and Value Stream Mapping (VPS) implementation and facilitation.
  • Track record of successfully leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in conducting internal and external audits.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
