Amazon EU is looking for a candidate to join the EU Personal Care Appliances (PCA) team as Vendor Manager. As Vendor Manager, you will be the main point of contact for several key vendor partners, focusing on facilitating business relationships, fueling growth, and improving business terms through vendor negotiations and building Joint Business Plans (JBPs). You will support category growth by managing store marketing promotions, maximizing selection through vendor relationships, and reacting to industry-related economic trends.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong analytical, relationship management, and organizational skills. You will be an analytics expert, identifying problem areas and creating plans for resolution, with the ability to learn new skills quickly. Strong communication skills and a proven track record of building positive working relationships are essential.

Key job responsibilities
- Act as the ‘business owner’ for assigned vendors and categories, understanding internal and external variables impacting your business. This includes owning forecasting, monitoring, reporting, and driving projects and promotional strategies to meet business goals.
- Manage all key vendor relationships, including contracts, day-to-day interactions, and securing funding.
- Understand industry trends, seasonality, and competitor developments, and monitor industry changes continually.
- Lead negotiations with vendors to establish joint goals, improve cost structures, and grow the P&L sustainably.
- Identify opportunities for selection expansion and onboard new brands to Amazon.
- Influence category design and improve customer experience through innovation.
- Understand customer needs and advocate for improvements in the shopping experience.
- Create business plans for new opportunities and execute project plans incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in stock management, marketing, finance, and others to operate and grow the business.
- Present business updates to senior Amazon leaders through reports, reviews, and financial planning sessions.
- Conduct financial analyses to meet revenue and profitability targets.
- Improve and automate manual processes for scalability as the business grows.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate effectively to meet deadlines.

Qualifications
University degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.Experience in buying, operations, business analysis, finance, consulting, or related fields.Experience negotiating and closing complex deals.Advanced Excel skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred qualifications
