Department Overview The Pre Sales organization provides technical and bid management support to the Sales teams within the European region enabling the delivery of compelling and winning proposals and solutions.

This team provides support the full range of solutions and technologies including :

  • Opportunities for new Motorola products and solutions in the Fixed Video business
  • Opportunities for Motorola’s traditional core radio products and services
  • Opportunities with complex systems integration requirements often requiring

significant 3rd party content

Job Description

Responsibilities include :

As a member of the PreSales Department , will work closely with the Sales Organization to develop and position solutions involving Motorola Solutions Video Security & Access control products.

He / she will be responsible for technical aspects of the sales process.

Your key responsibilities will include :

Engage with customers to fully understand problems and requirements, demonstrating deep knowledge of the customer’s problem space and solutions.

Requirements analysis of complex customer problems to determine compelling technology and service offerings.

Design of technology and service-based solutions, including generation of high-level designs, bill-of-materials, their documentation and management of the review process of these designs.

Presenting solution designs to potential customers and talking knowledgably about solution design and implementation including both theory and practical implementation experiences.

Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. MOI, MOD, Civil Protection and other national and governmental agencies)

Ability to arrange demonstrations of Motorola products and solutions

Supporting the procurement organization to obtain and evaluate quotations from equipment vendors.

Lead all technical sales activities related to assigned sales opportunities

Work closely with the entire bid team to ensure overall customer objectives and strategy is maintained

Basic Requirements

Qualifications :

A University Bachelor’s degree or similar (preferably in computer science, communications, software engineering or a similar field).

5+ years working in a PreSales technical role , including tender answering.

Strong communication skills, both written and spoken ( English and Spanish / Portuguese ).

Ability to initiate and build solid working relationships and to be self-motivated, results-oriented and operate with minimal supervision

Strong understanding of the video surveillance and access control market

Experience in the following domains is highly desirable :

Motorola Solutions product portfolio experience and / or relevant experience in key competitor offerings is highly desirable

Mobile video solutions including body worn cameras

IP communications and networking principles

Location / Travel :

The position includes frequent travel (30%) to other MSI sites and customer locations within the region as required for specific projects, customer meetings and demonstrations.

The candidate must be eligible to live and work in Spain or Portugal.
