Area Sales Manager – Machine Tools

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Machine Tools will involve :

• Field sales position selling a large manufactured portfolio of CNC machines, machine tools, lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, boring machines and fabrication machines
• 70% of your time selling directly into mechanical engineers
• Remainder of time selling direct into other engineering customers, aerospace, automotive,energy sector, marine, MOD & Government facilities
• 60% new business development role, you will be provided with target lists of customers to approach and will also follow up on plenty of leads vis the office / website
• 40% account management of some existing customers and pipeline on the area
• Typically 3.5 days per week on the road, rest of time working from home with monthly visits to the midlands based office
• Taking customers to the office to show them our clients showroom
