Role Overview :
The Video Technician / Pre-Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and support for Aura Vision's LED display solutions. This position involves a blend of hands-on technical work related to installation and troubleshooting, as well as providing essential technical support to both the internal sales team and external clients and partners. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of LED display systems and good communication skills.
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive technical support for the installation, setup, and operation of Aura Vision LED displays.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to LED displays and associated systems, including video processors, control systems, and signal distribution.
- Offer on-site and remote technical support to clients and partners, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide technical guidance and support during the sales process.
- Design and develop technical specifications, diagrams, and documentation for Aura Vision products and solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to the sales team, clients, and partners.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in LED display technology and related systems.
- Assist in the testing and quality control of Aura Vision products.
- Contribute to the development of training materials and provide technical training to clients and partners as needed.
- Document all technical support activities and solutions accurately.
Qualifications and Experience :
Proven experience (typically 2+ years) as a Video Technician, LED Display Technician, Sales Engineer, or similar role within the LED display or audiovisual industry.Strong technical understanding of LED display technology, including hardware, software, and control systems.Hands-on experience with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of LED displays.Familiarity with video processing, signal distribution, and related AV equipment.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in relevant software and tools.Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of Spanish and other languages is a plus.Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support or training across EMEA region.Seniority level
