EPC Project Pursuit Coordinator

Based in Madrid, this role involves engaging with Engineering and Procurement companies (EPC) across Iberia for valve projects. The candidate will collaborate with regional Emerson pursuit teams and support various groups to engage, influence, and win projects. Responsibilities include project pursuit and coordination activities with EPCs, such as project qualification, pursuit strategy, bid preparation / submittal, EPC communication, market intelligence, procurement strategy, and delivering key messages aligned with pursuit strategy.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

• Manage the pursuit qualification process, ensuring alignment of strategy with project potential.
• Understand and communicate pursuit priorities within the organization.
• Build key relationships within EPC offices, especially procurement and engineering teams.
• Ensure bid proposals are accurate, strategic, and submitted before deadlines.
• Support project pursuit and strategic accounts with AML / AVL additions and global customer / key account presentations.
• Align pursuit strategies between the business unit and Spanish Sales.
• Present products and solutions effectively.
• Understand manufacturing approvals and requirements.
• Improve project win ratio through differentiated business cases and customer value creation, following business unit guidelines.
• Analyze competitors, their positioning, and selling points; communicate market intelligence proactively.
• Engage early in projects to influence and provide sales intelligence for proposals.
• Ensure open communication channels for quotation clarification and alignment during bidding.
• Facilitate value proposition discussions through effective communication channels.
