Job Description

The Credit Analyst is responsible for conducting credit analyses, including gathering, analyzing, and interpreting all types of credit information on existing portfolios. This includes credit reports, industry research, and tax returns. The analyst inputs data into tracking and reporting systems and prepares credit reports for decision-makers. They also set up and maintain databases to analyze accounts and portfolios, monitoring for potential risks to mitigate losses. The role involves providing credit information to relevant parties and supporting credit decision processes.

Main Duties include :

  • Analyze existing customers with exposure below $750K.
  • Complete financial and business analysis reports as required.
  • Collaborate with Customer Due Diligence, Fraud, Collections, and Chargebacks Departments when necessary.
  • Make credit decisions on assigned cases.
  • Communicate with customers and sales teams on credit and risk issues.
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Work well within a team.
  • Identify issues that need escalation.
  • Maintain a positive, self-motivated attitude.
  • Support management with various tasks.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Two to three years of related experience.
  • Preferred Skills / Experience :

  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements.
  • Previous credit underwriting experience is an advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Additional language skills are a plus.

    This role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, with in-office expectations of at least 3 days per week and flexibility to work remotely on other days.
