GAME DESIGNER

Our Client is a world-leading actor in social gaming, and we are looking for a talented Game Designer to shape and develop a range of new casual & social games. The role is based in their studio in Barcelona.

Skills

You are passionate about games and able to work in a flexible and fluid environment where the job will evolve over time.

Other skills include :

• At least 3 years of experience taking games from concept development through to delivery.
• Having released several games, including at least one on a mobile device.
• Immersion in the world of online games.
• Knowledge of all processes involved in game production.
• Experience designing multiplayer games and game reward systems.
• Skillful use of mathematical models and tools to analyze gameplay and user behavior.
• Ability to integrate elements that help players understand and learn the game.
• Familiarity with psychological models concerning motivation, enabling creation of engaging experiences.
• Proficiency with scripting languages.
• Ability to integrate content into the game.
• Capability to balance complex game systems.
• Skilled in designing user interfaces and camera controls.
• Understanding of the importance of well-documented designs and technical features.

Knowledge and Approach

Collaborate closely with a product team including programmers and artists.
