To accelerate our growth across EMEA, we’re searching for an exceptional Senior Account Executive to join the team at Shopify. Your mission will be to help mid-market businesses in Spain (with revenues between €5-40M online) identify their goals and make the right choices for their success.

This team will be critical to our long-term success and will have the opportunity to shape Shopify's growth. We are in hyper-growth mode, and this is where you come in.

Key Responsibilities :

Drive sales revenue through new client acquisition within some of EMEA’s most exciting brands.

Actively manage the sales process, including positioning, presenting, demoing Shopify, and closing sales.

Serve as expert commerce when engaging with prospects.

Build and manage a book of business through outbound prospecting and inbound opportunities.

Stay organized by effectively managing an account set and keeping detailed, accurate notes of all sales-related activities.

Identify each client’s unique needs and develop effective sales strategies.

Work cross-functionally with other teams, particularly partnerships, and take ownership of various events.

Achieve your sales targets and performance metrics.

Qualifications :

Proficiency in both English and native Spanish is essential for doing business.

Shopify is a remote company, but we participate in many customer and partner events across Spain, primarily in Madrid and Barcelona, so being located in those cities or within a maximum of 2 hours away is preferred.

Extensive technology sales experience in a closing role within a fast-paced environment, focusing on consultative solution selling for a SaaS or eCommerce company, with a proven track record of overachievement.

Demonstrated experience in managing full and complex sales cycles, preferably in a technology or software product environment.

You are a commerce subject-matter expert and understand unique business needs, enabling you to demonstrate how merchants can significantly grow their businesses.

A demonstrated ability to drive sales with all stakeholders (from business to IT, mid-level to senior executives), consistently achieving success in a fast-paced, high-growth sales environment.

Experience orchestrating multiple internal resources to strengthen sales initiatives, solve merchant problems, and close deals.

High comfort level with deep technical product knowledge, aspiring to become a Shopify product expert.
