We’ve started with an innovative technology that lowers the cost of green hydrogen production. Thanks to our catalysts and electrodes—designed and manufactured in-house—we can significantly improve electrolysis efficiency.

Building on 10 years of R&D in research centers, this project was born within Zubi Labs , the IMPACT VENTURE BUILDER of Zubi Group, where companies with a triple impact are created and scaled. That means businesses that aim not only for economic success but also for social and environmental value.

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to act as the technical backbone of our Business Development team. You will bridge the gap between our cutting-edge technology and commercial sales efforts , helping prospects and customers understand how our solutions solve their technical challenges. This role requires both deep technical expertise and strong customer-facing skills to drive revenue growth and accelerate deal closures.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales & Sales Enablement

  • Partner with Business Development to support technical discussions during sales calls and customer meetings.
  • Gather technical requirements from prospects and translate them into clear solution proposals.
  • Design and deliver tailored proof-of-concepts (POCs) and product testing, iterating with customers to fine-tune the desired solution.
  • Create technical sales collateral (whitepapers, solution briefs, FAQs).

Customer Onboarding

  • Act as a trusted advisor , helping customers integrate our technology into their existing systems across their onboarding journey.
  • Generate technical documentation to facilitate integration efforts for our customers that adhere to their requirements.
  • Troubleshoot customers across their integration journey.
  • Work closely with R&D teams to tailor solutions based on customer needs.
  • Provide feedback to Engineering on customer pain points and feature requests.
  • Conduct training sessions for clients on best practices for using our technology.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Provide insights to Sales and Product teams on customer needs and market gaps.
  • What will set you up for success in this role?

    Technical Expertise

  • Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Customer Centricity : Capacity to create solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with drive & independence.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with R&D and engineering.
  • Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Strong communication & presentation skills; ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing R&D roles with enterprise customers.
  • Comfort in fast-paced startup environments with evolving priorities.
  • Availability to travel and be on customer premises for workshops / joint developments.
  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability

  • Ability to quickly understand customer pain points and craft viable solutions.
  • Strong analytical thinking and a solution-oriented mindset .
  • Bias for action and capacity to work across multiple customers in parallel.
