Job Description

The Plant Operations Assistant supports the efficient and safe operation of a manufacturing or processing facility. This role involves assisting with daily operational tasks, maintaining equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting plant staff in executing production goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the plant, including production, maintenance, and logistics activities.
• Monitor machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning; report malfunctions or irregularities to supervisors.
• Assist in inventory management, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
• Record and report data related to production, equipment performance, and quality checks.
• Support maintenance staff with routine repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training and drills.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
