Job Opportunity : Project Manager at Chemgineering Group in Spain

The Chemgineering Group is a global consulting and engineering company with branches in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Spain, Mexico, Poland, and Serbia.

We specialize in designing and implementing demanding projects across various industries, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, fine chemicals, medical technology, cosmetics, vitamins, diagnostics, and food.

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our engineering project management team in Spain.

Your Tasks

Manage projects throughout their lifecycle, from design to construction management, start-up, and commissioning of facilities.
Coordinate with and report to the project sponsor.
Independently manage and control projects throughout their lifecycle.
Implement quality processes and document management in projects.
Manage multi-disciplinary technical project teams.
Develop technical work such as calculations, graphic designs, diagrams, etc., based on project needs and your technical knowledge.

Your Profile

Preferred qualifications include a background in chemical engineering; industrial or mechanical engineering will also be considered.

5 to 10 years of experience as an engineering project manager.

Experience in sectors like Fine Chemicals, Pharma-Chemicals, Biotechnology, Cosmetics, or Food is advantageous.

Ability to understand and manage multi-disciplinary technical projects.

Language skills : native or fluent in Spanish, with a medium / high level of English (both spoken and written). Knowledge of German is a plus.

Proficiency with the Windows Office suite and experience with MS Project for project planning.

Availability to travel (short trips, approximately 2 days a week).

Having your own vehicle is an advantage.

Ability to work autonomously and in a structured manner within engineering project teams.
