This is a very exciting opportunity to join a new team in the Amazon Shipping business. We are looking for a highly driven, entrepreneurial, analytical, and customer-obsessed individual to join the Business Development team in Spain. You will be responsible for selling Amazon Shipping services, developing a strong pipeline, detecting opportunities, negotiating with external companies, and closing sales. Additionally, you will collect market segment and customer insights to improve the product and delight Amazon customers.
Key job responsibilities
- Customer relationship management : Building and maintaining strong top-level relationships with identified strategic partners.
- Sales Pipeline Development : Prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing potential clients while maintaining a robust sales pipeline aligned with revenue targets.
- Negotiation : Preparing and leading price negotiations, building concession matrices, and closing deals under optimal terms for both partners.
- Cross-functional collaboration : Working with operations, product, and tech leaders to build solutions that drive value for new customers and help develop a product that meets customer needs.
- Dive deep : Building compelling pricing propositions, measuring performance, conversion rates, account profitability, identifying gaps and opportunities, and addressing them.
This role will be based in Madrid (4 Towers district, NOT Getafe) with moderate travel within Spain (max. 5-10%).
